RSCy2023 – Ninth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environmentʼ 3-5 April, 2023 - Cyprus
The Organizing Committee of the ‘Ninth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation of Environment’ invited participants to join them in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, from 3-5 April 2023. The conference provided an opportunity to network with renowned experts in the field of Remote Sensing and Geo-information. It was held under the auspices of H.E. the Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy.
The Technical Programme encompassed a wide range of topics in Remote Sensing and Geo-information of Environment, along with related techniques and applications. The conference included various workshops covering diverse subjects
The impactful contributions of Dr. Ioannides and Prof. Efstathiou during their presentations were transformative in the realm of cultural heritage and digitalization. Dr. Ioannides’ presentation, titled “Recommendations for Standardizing Digital Cultural Heritage Documentation,” revolutionized how digital resources related to cultural heritage are handled. The recommendations presented at the conference brought about significant improvements in the preservation, accessibility, and interoperability of digital cultural heritage.
