CARARE 2021: Connecting Archaeology and Architecture in Europe. Presentation: “Digital 3D Documentation of Cypriot Cultural Heritage Monuments and Sites
Description of the event
CARARE’s annual conference showcases technologies and shares experiences of making archaeology collections accessible online. The programme comprises of themed sessions in which speakers will give short presentations followed by time for questions and discussion, the CARARE Cafe discussion session and the CARARE AGM.
Involvement and Mission
A presentation titled “Digital 3D Documentation of Cypriot Cultural Heritage Monuments and Sites†was given by the coordinator of Mnemosyne project.
Impact
The presentation as well as the very constructive discussion which followed formed an invaluable material and knowledge for the Mnemosyne future research agenda. The 177 actively involved participants contributed to a very productive discussion about the 3D HBIM modeling and standardization in digital cultural heritage.
