EuroMed2024 Dates Officially Announced

The UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology has formally announced the dates of 10th biannual International Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Digital Heritage (EuroMed2024). The conference will be held between the 2nd and 4th of December 2024 at the Cyprus University of Technology, Limassol, Cyprus.

Celebrating its second decade the EuroMed events have become key fixtures in the conference calendar for cultural heritage scholars, practitioners, and professionals alike. The aim of EuroMed has always been to extend the scope of Cultural Heritage outside of academia engage with stakeholders across the spectrum from communities to policymakers, providing a forum for discussion reflecting the multidisciplinary and cross-sector interests of the field. Engaging the widest possible audience of Cultural Heritage interests provides a unique blend of networking opportunities, presentations, poster session, workshops, demonstrations and knowledge exchange applicable to researchers and scholars at any stage of their career but also user communities, SMEs, owners, managers and conservators of cultural patrimony.

We invite scholars and researchers from the academy and professionals working across the diverse spectrum of CH activities to submit papers under the following topic headings:

I. Artificial Intelligence in Cultural Heritage
II. Contribution to the Protection, Conservation, Restoration, & Preservation (PCRP) of Cultural Heritage
III. Cross Realities (AR/MR/XR/VR) and Virtual World Development and Use for Cultural Heritage
IV. Data Acquisition and Processing (including Paradata and Metadata)
V. Data Modelling, Analysis, Knowledge Management & Visualisation
VI. Digital Approaches to Documentation, Dissemination and Exploitation of CH Results
VII. e-Infrastructures, Sustainability & Long-Term Preservation for Digital Cultural Heritage
